Ask Betty Bulldog: Confused Girl

Tiana Specht & Tammie McElwee, Staff Reporter

Dear Betty Bulldog,

Okay, so kind of a long story, but, last year, I had a boyfriend. We have been with each other for about 3 years. We were in “love”, or so I thought. My ex-best friend, who I trusted with my life, slept with him at a party and didn’t tell me about it. They both lied to me when I asked them about it. Time goes by, and later on they both tell me their sides of the story. Of course, they are both completely different from each other. They are both now trying to come back in my life like the way it used to be, and I am not sure what I should do.

                                                                                                                                                                                                           Sincerely, Confused Girl

Dear Confused Girl,

No matter the type of relationship, whether it be friends, bestfriends, boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife, the soul foundation to any relationship is trust, if you don’t have trust then the whole house crumbles. At this point, the only thing you can do is follow your heart. If you think your ready for them both to come back then let them, or if your only ready for one of them, then only let one of them come back.

Love always, Betty Bulldog
