The reality TV show The Bachelor started airing season 23, on January 7, 2019. So far there have only been four episodes and it is said to be the most dramatic season yet.
The show is produced on the ABC Network. Every other year the network changes the show between The Bachelorette and The Bachelor.
Colton Underwood is the bachelor of the new season. Out of all the seasons of The Bachelor Colton is the first bachelor who is a virgin, making this season even more interesting.
Colton was also on The Bachelorette as a competing bachelor. On The Bachelorette Colton was heartbroken because he fell in love with Becca Kufrin (the latest The Bachelorette) and he turned out to be the runner up.
The Bachelor is a group of 30 women dating one guy at once, they all get one on one time with him and get to know him.
When on the show the girls and Colton all get to live in the iconic Bachelor Mansion. The mansion is located in the Agoura Hills outside of Los Angeles.
The girls of this season include: Alex B, Alex D, Angelique, Annie, Bri, Caelynn, Caitlin, Cassie, Catherine, Courtney, Demi, Devin, Elyse, Erika, Erin, Hannah B, Hannah G, Heather, Adrianne “Jane”, Katie, Kirpa, Laura, Nicole, Nina, Onyeka, Revian, Sydney, Tahzjuan, Tayshia, Tracy.
Chris Harrison is the host again. He has been the host of this show since 2002. Chris has been seeing couples come together for the past 16 years. He is also the officiator at the bachelor weddings.
During the first episode, the girls got to meet Colton for the first time. Each girl had an opportunity to talk him for at least 20 minutes.
Colten then decides who to take on the first date the next day. At the end of every single episode there is a rose ceremony.
The woman who get the first rose gets to not only stay at the mansion and date Colton, but also gets to go on the first date the next day.
The woman also get the amazing feeling of having the first rose of the night.
At the very end, Colton gives the women he feels connections to the most a rose. Those who do not get a rose have to leave the mansion and go home.
